Wednesday Afternoon Book Study
Our WABS book study group will meet on Wednesday, September 10th, 2025, at 10 a.m. in the Church Library. We will be discussing the book, Ruthless Tide, by Al Roker, former “weatherman” for the NBC morning show.
All are welcome to join the conversation as we share our thoughts about this very informative and well-written work concerning the horrific flood that destroyed the town of Johnstown, Pennsylvania in 1889. Roker looks at the who, where, how, why, and what that preceded and culminated in that tragic devastation. We will also share our summer readings and ideas for future book group discussions. Hope you will join us!
