Special Canned Collection
This Sunday is the first Sunday of the month. Bring your cans and other food items for collection by the children during worship service. Water is always needed. In addition to the canned goods, fresh food is also collected. Friendly reminder that Inland Valley Hope Partner does not accept clothing or shoes.

Youth Community Clean Up – Middle and High School Youth
Join your fellow youth as we beautify our neighborhood. The idea for this youth event came out of our spiritual formation class about being good stewards for the planet. We will meet in the church courtyard and we’ll conclude the event by sharing a meal together.

Camp For The Generations Save the Date / June 21-23, 2024

Hope 4 Home
We are a Matthew 25 Movement congregation, seeking to protect and defend the vulnerable in the name of Jesus. One way we work at this pledge is by providing meals to Hope for Home, a local transitional housing center in Pomona. All ages are invited to participate in meal preparations which will take place twice during Lent. For questions, email our kitchen ministries coordinator, Tron Passmore at kitchen@lavernecob.org

Donations collected for House of Ruth
The Service Commission is requesting donations for the House of Ruth, which assists families affected by domestic violence, on Sunday, May 5. Items needed are: diapers (size 5-6), blankets, baby wipes, wash cloths, baby soap, laundry detergent, and gift cards.
