Property Commission Updates: Enhancing Our Church Grounds and Facilities
We’re excited to share some wonderful updates from the Property Commission!
Thanks to the leadership of Dan Snowden-Ifft, and the dedicated efforts of John Solis, Debra Kniesley, and Shelly Vander Veen, our water reclamation system is now fully operational!
The new barrel system is supplying 1,800 gallons of reclaimed water to nourish the Peace and Carrots Garden. If you’re ever curious, check out the black water meter—it shows how many cubic feet have been sent to the garden. During installation, we used 10 cubic feet, or about 75 gallons (most of which went to soaking John and Shelly!).
In addition, a new sound processor and system tuning have brought the Church sanctuary sound system back to prime working order. Speakers that had been disconnected for years are now functioning again, including those in the balcony, choir monitors, narthex, and floor subs at the front of the Church.
Next up: the fence! Jeff will be working on a design, and we’ll schedule a work day via email soon. We also have a few final touches to complete on the water tank system.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has contributed their time and talents to these improvements. Your dedication is making a lasting impact on our church community!

Spiritual Life-Nametags
You are invited to help build our community by wearing a nametag during and after church. Find the supplies you need to make a re-usable nametag at the Welcome Table in the lobby. You can take it home with you, or leave it at the Welcome Table to pick up next time. If you forget to bring it, make a temporary sticker tag at the Welcome Table. What else can you find at the Welcome Table? A list of upcoming events. A place to hand in forms. A place to sign up to volunteer. Come check it out!
