Many Voices : One Vision, Concert

Many Voices, One Vision, a May 13 concert by the La Verne Church of the Brethren Sanctuary Choir, will present a program that celebrates the unity of our diverse human family. Conducted by Dr. Niké St. Clair and accompanied by composer Shawn Kirchner, the concert begins at 7:00 pm in the church on 2425 “E” Street, La Verne. Doors open at 6:30. There is no admission fee, however, a freewill offering will be accepted with donations going to local charities. The event includes a performance by the Angelica Center for Arts and Music Student Ensemble. A courtyard reception with light refreshments follows the concert.
Additionally, this year marks a ten-year milestone of the shared choral leadership of Dr. St. Clair and Mr. Kirchner, two highly acclaimed talents within the Southern California choral music community. Their collaboration has resulted in over 400 worship anthems, thirty-three concerts, and three far-reaching tours, affirming a musical partnership that has faithfully extended our church’s mission: to continue the work of Jesus- peacefully, simply, together
